Hey there — I’m Robert, the founder of High Altitude IT.
I’m a Marine Corps veteran who served as an Aviation Hydraulics Mechanic, where precision and performance were everything. I earned my Lean Six Sigma certification while serving, and used it to help save the USMC millions by streamlining processes and cutting down inefficiencies. That mindset — improve, adapt, and optimize — has stayed with me ever since.
Toward the end of my time in the military, I was selected by Microsoft to attend their inaugural software engineering bootcamp for transitioning service members — the first of its kind. That experience launched my career in tech and opened doors I didn’t even know existed.
Since then, I’ve spent over a decade as a software developer, working with Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies. I’ve built solutions used by millions, from automation frameworks to high-volume email marketing systems that generated millions in sales. I was also part of the team behind the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2020 application, helping one of the largest data collection efforts in the world go digital.
Today, I run High Altitude IT — a consulting agency built for small businesses and individuals looking to get their tech under control. I help clients modernize their workflows, design and host clean, high-performing websites, and bring their digital goals to life without the overwhelm.
I’m also passionate about giving back. Through High Altitude IT, I offer free community services focused on preparedness, digital literacy, and empowering folks to be self-reliant.
High Altitude IT is more than a business — it’s a mission. I’m here to solve problems, bring your ideas to life, and make tech approachable and impactful for everyone.
Let’s build something great together.
